The network is a time for youth leaders to gather and share their ideas, plans, calendars, and dreams for the 2018 season. The goal is to help each other think through classes, curriculum, events, etc. It is also a time to stir up vision and ideas and encourage collaboration among churches.
Rev. Aqueelah S. Ligonde is an enthusiastic orator, preacher and worship leader. Her passion is to minister to young people in general, with the center of her attention directed toward young girls, women and ultimately the family.
Rev. Ligonde, a native of Dayton , OH, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the College of Wooster and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago , IL . She was licensed to preach by the Omega Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.
Rev. Ligonde’s contributions as a servant define the demand for her gift as a workshop leader and host for conferences, seminars, retreats, camps, concerts, and worship events. Her work with programs such as LOGOS and Youthworks futher enlighten others in regards to the gift that God has placed on her life to be able to effectively serve and reach today’s youth.
Rev. Ligonde is presently the Associate Pastor of Youth and Families at the First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, in Jamaica, New York where Reverend Patrick O’Connor is the lead Pastor. She resides in Queens, New York with her husband, Sharon.
